David Holt, 69, of Amarillo died Monday, Sept. 29, 2008.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in North Amarillo Church of Christ with Cecil Burch, minister, officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Mr. Holt was born Aug. 27, 1939, in Canadian to David and Mildred Holt. He had worked in production at Asarco for 36 years. Mr. Holt was a member of North Amarillo Church of Christ.
He married Stella Louise Swires on Aug. 27, 1960, in Canadian.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Arthur "Willie" Holt.
Survivors include his wife, Stella Holt; a daughter, Karla Bryan and husband Stant of Amarillo; two sons, Kevin Holt and wife Renee of Rio Rancho, N.M., and Michael Holt and wife Huixian of Cross Junction, Va.; two sisters, Edna Jackson of Denton and Sandra Lucas of Longview; and five grandchildren, Eric and Willie Bryan and Kory, Aaron and Kyla Holt.
The family suggests memorials be to Refugee Mission, North Amarillo Church of Christ, 801 N.E. 15th Ave., Amarillo, TX 79107.
